Productbeschrijving

Description
Through multiple recycling cycles, cellulose fibers undergo progressive shortening, leading to corresponding deterioration in drainage performance. Optimizing pulp drainability remains a critical objective in paper and board manufacturing. While conventional retention/drainage aids enhance gravitational dewatering, their utility is constrained by fiber flocculation-induced production limitations.

Biocatalytic approaches address this challenge through selective hydrolysis of fine fibers in recycled pulp. This process increases the relative proportion of long fibers, thereby fundamentally improving drainage characteristics without inducing detrimental flocculation effects.

Mechanism of action

Drainzyme L-Series accelerates dewatering processes through targeted bio-catalysis. This multifunctional enzyme system modifies fiber morphology by degrading fine constituents, significantly increasing drainage rates on the forming fabric. By reducing residual water in the paper web prior to drying, it enables higher production speeds and achieves measurable steam reduction—supported by integrated stabilizers and surface-active agents ensuring consistent performance.

Product Benefits:

Suitable for production lines using ONP, OCC, and other recycled fibers to manufacture corrugated medium, linerboard, white board, etc.

Enhances drainage performance on the wire section, increasing machine speed by 5-20 m/min while reducing wet web moisture content.

Lowers steam consumption in drying cylinders by 2-5%.

Long-term application improves paper formation uniformity.
